Esmeralda

Esmeralda was a character in an old story I stopped writing years ago.

She was a very atypical heroine, being cunning, shrewd, and also quite smart. Born in Venezzia, (hence the mask ) she was the bastard daughter of a courtesan and a nobleman, she had elegance, style, and -much to her own consternation- also a heart of gold, and –many- very well kept secrets, just to round her up. I miss her a lot, she was a good, fun character to write.
