Yeh-hsien is the chinesse equivalent of Conderella, but instead of fairy god mother we have a golden Koi fish, and instead of glass slippers, Shoes made of gold, red jade and silk. The rest of the story is basically the same, and equally beautiful.

This is my entry for this contest: [link] We have to desing a dress, and they give points for originality and such. I made a re-interpretation of the tale, and tried to give the dress a modern but fantastic feel. (and of course, a certain "fishy" air)

I really love this pic, except for her hair and feet. But well, nobody is perfect.

Done with markers, white and gold paint, and a little photoshop touch-up.

La historia de Yeh-hsien es basicamente el equivalente chino de la cenicienta, pero en lugar de hada madrina tenemos a un pez dorado que vive en el fondo del lago en el que la protagonista va a llorar sus penas, y las zapatillas de cristal se convierten en unos zapatos preciosos de oro, jade rojo y seda.

Esta es mi entrada para este concurso: [link] Tenemos que elaborar un diseño de vestido, y dan puntos por extras por originalidad. Asi que trate de reinterpretar el cuento, hacer el vestido mas moderno pero que aun asi guardara algo de oriental, darle tambien un aire acuatico, pero guardando un diseño agradable.

Me gusto mucho el resultado, aunque debo decir que las partes que no me gustan del dibujo son su cabello y sus pies... siento que hay algo raro con ellos.

Hecho con marcadores, pintura dorada y blanca y un minúsculo retoque en photoshop.
